"Body Painting"

This performance piece was created with the intention to experiment with the body as a material to create marks, just as a brush would. By dipping parts of my body in paint and smearing it onto hung paper, I created a composition entirely made by my own movement. After filming my performance outside, I decided to display the piece indoors with the video playing over the painting in effort to reveal the process simultaneously with the finished product.
